Our Members – A Strong Network for the Rail Technology of Tomorrow
RailCampus OWL brings together stakeholders from science, industry, the public sector, and practical railway operations who are jointly shaping the future of rail transport. Our members combine complementary competencies, resources, and perspectives, thereby creating an exceptionally high-performing innovation network.
Within RailCampus OWL, universities, companies, municipal partners, and educational institutions work closely together in a coordinated manner – ranging from fundamental research and applied development to the education of highly qualified specialists. This diversity makes our platform particularly valuable: it enables interdisciplinary exchange and promotes the joint development of forward-looking solutions for intelligent and efficient rail systems.
Our members include stakeholders from various sectors who together form a powerful eco-innovation system for railways and holistically advance the development of the rail and mobility industry:
- Science and Research
Universities and research institutions that develop innovative study programs and implement application-oriented research projects. - Users and Operators
Organizations from the railway sector that contribute their practical experience and specifically provide impulses for research, technology transfer, and innovation. - Supplier Industry
Companies that develop technological solutions, contribute industrial expertise, and drive innovation along the entire value chain. - Education, Training, and Specialized Institutions
Partners that qualify specialists and ensure practice-oriented competencies. - Public Sector
Municipalities and other public institutions that support the location and create suitable framework conditions.
Through their interaction, a connected ecosystem is created in which competencies are combined, innovations are accelerated, and new railway solutions are brought from the initial idea into practical application.
