DAK – Digital Automatic Coupling

Several partners of RailCampus OWL are actively involved in the testing of the Digital Automatic Coupling (DAK). Within the framework of the BMDV project DAC4EU (DAC4EU project website), they equipped a demonstrator train and have been intensively engaged in researching the technology and its integration into rail vehicles.

The companies involved in the project in Minden are DB Systemtechnik, DB Cargo, OWITA, and HARTING Technology Group.

Further Information on DAK
