Purposes and objectives of the RailCampus OWL e.V. association

The purpose of the RailCampus OWL e.V. association is to organise and coordinate an innovation ecosystem of education, research and business for intelligent railway systems at the RailCampus OWL in Minden. The association aims to realise the vision ‘RailCampus OWL: Technology – Transfer – Qualification – Innovation – Integration. We design innovative railway systems’.

The purpose of the Articles of Association is to achieve the following objectives in particular:

Technology: Strengthening the framework conditions and pooling interests for the implementation of intelligent railway technology

Transfer: Creation of a network and interest platform ‘intelligent railway technology’ and scientific dialogue on the railway system

Qualification: Initiation and promotion of attractive training programmes for the railway system

Innovation: Initiation and establishment of a regional, national and European research campus for innovative railway systems

Integration: Supporting the realisation of research results in practical applications

The purpose of the association is supported in particular by promoting cooperation and exchange within the RailCampus OWL network (association members and third parties).
