Mobility is a key factor for the sustainability of our regions. Railways play a major role in this, and new technologies are being used to strengthen them in both passenger and freight transport fields.

RailCampus OWL in Minden is a Germany-wide network for future deveopments, providing a space for research, development and testing as well as a campus for studies and training.

Railway transportation offers a particularly huge potential for automation – e.g. when it comes to equipment, maintenance, loading of freight trains or in public transport. We develop, design and test.

We are students, companies, universities, the city and the district – and we utilise the opportunities given at the Minden site.
